The Buckle Clog

I read a lot of review on Rothy’s website about the buckle clog before purchasing. An overwhelming majority said to size down an entire size because this specific shoe runs large but I am very glad I did not. I’m a typical size 8.5 and purchased the size 8 in the buckle clog. The fit and width is perfect. If you want to wear socks with the clogs as well, sizing an entire size down would make these too small for me personally. Would highly recommend as a repeat Rothy’s customer!

I am not a fan of Birkenstock type clogs but these are so much cuter. I own a few pairs of rothy's and like them for their quality, durability and fact that they can be washed. These do not disappoint..I got the Wren boucle and love the fabric and the color. They fit comfortable and true to size (with a room for a cozy socks). I took away the star because the shoe inserts are not removable like in other Rothy's shoes, hence they will be tougher to clean. They are also clunkier and heavier than I expected but the top material seems less sturdy than Rothy's offers in their other styles. These are keepers though and I hope they will last me for at least few years.

Love comfortable and easy style. I usually can fit a 8.5 to 9.5 depending on type of shoe. 9.0 is normal for me for sneakers and dress shoes. I ordered a size 8 in the brown-taupe pair and ended up sending it back because it was a tad too small, my dominant foot (right toe) was pushed up against the shoe. I ordered a size 9 and they fit great with and without socks. It really came down to how the foot bed felt and where my arch was on the shoe for me. And ultimately why I needed the sz9.
