The Belted Satchel Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag reminded me a lot of The Row Margaux bag, and the space it provides is quite a lot to put a 14" laptop and a few other essentials. Not to mention, a crossbody strap is a huge plus, which is ideal to use for everyday work (or even travel too, acting as a travel bag). Please bring this back in newer shades and possibly newer sizes: it's incredibly chic at an amazing price!

This is a truly beautiful bag, and I was instantly drawn to the color—it was exactly what I was hoping for. The size is also fantastic; it hits that perfect sweet spot for an everyday satchel, offering plenty of room without feeling bulky. However, the appeal quickly faded once I actually started packing it. The biggest issue is that the bag loses its shape almost instantly when you put anything in it. What looks like a structured satchel on the shelf quickly becomes a slouchy tote, which really detracts from its polished, professional look. The second major concern was the straps. They simply did not feel strong enough to support the weight of the everyday essentials I carry for work (laptop, notebooks, etc.). I worried that over time, the weight would strain the hardware or the material, leading to premature failure. Ultimately, I needed a reliable and sturdy bag for my daily work commute, and this one didn't feel up to the task. Given the issues with the structure and the strap strength, I decided to return it. It's a gorgeous accessory, but sadly, it's not a dependable work bag.
