The Beachwaver Co.^™ Beachwaver^® Pro Line 1-Inch Rotating Curling Iron

I can't say enough great things about this iron! I have longer hair with layers and it does the trick every single time, not to mention it takes me 7 minutes to curl my entire head and then lasts for days. When I tell my husband I'll be ready in 15, I really am :) Few tricks I learned, its best to split my hair into two sides (left and right) before I start and then take sections from there. After styling, I wait for my curls to cool before I run my fingers through them. *Note: curls look a bit perfect at first so you have to break them up! Also, for beachy waves, I only curl to the middle of the section. For more polished waves I rotate all the way to the top of the section and then brush it out with a boar bristle brush at the end. Game changer for me.

I really don't understand the negative reviews on here. Like someone else said, this curling iron really is a game-changer and worth every penny. I've had it going on 2 years now and use it almost every day. It heats up within seconds and takes me about 7 minutes to completely style my long, thick hair. Others have mentioned that this iron is not made for those with layers, but I completely disagree. I have layers in my hair and it works perfectly fine...even better in my opinion. I section my hair into left and right sides, then I take a piece of hair and curl it. If the layer falls out while curling, I pick that piece up and curl it on it's own. I repeat that throughout my head. Because most of the layers are curled separately from the rest of my hair, it gives my hair a very natural, beachy look, thus the intended goal. This may sound like a lengthy process, but let me assure you it isn't. Like I said, 7 minutes for my whole head! It definitely takes some getting used to, but by the time I finished my hair for the first time, I found my groove and it's been incredibly easy ever since. I've received more compliments on my hair since I started using the Beachwaver than I have in my entire life. I'm sure I must sound like a paid infomercial, but I seriously love it that much. I've done away with all of my other heat tools and use the Beachwaver exclusively. Yes, it's pricey, but well worth the money. I like drug-store products just as much as department store products, and if I thought there were ANY other iron that compared to this one, I would be more than willing to recommend it as a cheaper alternative, but there's nothing that comes remotely close.

I've been looking for a great curling iron. I have short hair, bob style cut. I saw this on youtube and thought it would be perfect. It's a great product. It heats up super fast, and t's easy to use. Downside for me, it didn't curl my hair. It just left huge crimps in my hair. Maybe for future models, they will have different barrel sizes?

I was SOOO excited to get this Beachwaver Pro!! It is a thick barrel so if you have short hair I would not recommend. I tried to do my shorter hair around my face and it kept coming loose. For long hair it is amazing! The curl is so defined. The item is a bit heavy so if they make another I hope they lighten it up a bit especially if you have carpal tunnel and a lot of hair. lol.. Another thing I noticed was that it is hard to find the "go" switch because it lands in a different place each time because it spins. If you have long hair this is a great item ,but very expensive 110$

I'm surprised by all the positive reviews for this curling iron. I will agree that it's a really cool device (and the barrel is so long!). I had no problems using it, it just was not right for my hair. I have semi-long, thick, frizzy hair and this did not smooth my hair as well as a normal curling iron does. The clamp is very small, and leave the bottom half inch of your hair straight. If you use this how directed you will end up with a head of Shirley Temple curls (nothing wrong with that, I just prefer the less perfect wavey-type hair vs. a bunch of uniform curls).

I love this curling iron! Whenever I have used a styling wand in the past, I would always get a crease at the end of my curls. This doesn't happen with the Beachwaver. It's also really easy to use. To make it even easier, Sarah Potempa provides a YouTube video on her website of how to properly use the Beachwaver. I have thick, wavy hair and this curling iron works perfectly!
