quality, easy to use!
I bought this beachwaver curling iron during the anniversary sale.
This curling iron is well made, and is a nice 1.25 inch barrel that is extra long, this helps if your hair is medium to long so you can stretch out curls or make them tight and curly as you wish. it is very easy to use, you can curl so that the barrel spins left OR right. You press the "GO" button and it begins to spin the curl and when you let go of the "GO" button the barrel stops -so no accidental overspin or chance of burning if you use and follow instructions properly. It is very easy, not complicated. You can adjust the "spin" speed as well. The temp display is large window and digital. Uniform heat and not so heavy that you get fatigued. My hair is very long and thick, about 18 inches in length, and I was able to wave my entire hair in 10-12 minutes. This barrel heats up fast. I'm keeping it because I love that effortless beachy, wavy look and dont want to spend a lot of time on my hair.
style tip: If you want super fast, 5 min voluminous curls, just put up hair in a high pony tail and curl the ends, let cool and undo your pony and brush fingers gently through hair and mist with hair spray to set. you'll end up with soft waves with large curls on the end. :))

Not user friendly
I thought the beachwaver rotating curling iron was really hard to use. The "clamp" is too small to hold your hair. I have thick hair so maybe that was the problem. After an hour of using it, I finally got some curl. But, the first side that I started with the curl was limp and didn't last long. I ended up returning the iron.

My absolute FAVORITE Styling tool!
This is the best and most convenient curler ever! Once you get the hang of it, you will never look back. I have hair that does not keep curls long and this gives me long lasting curls and it is so much less hard on your arms. I completely recommend it. (Warning: do NOT plug it in overseas with a converter. I have blown two trying that in different countries. It is just too high a voltage and will break immediately.)

The best!
I love this curling iron! I made the mistake of trying to use my first one out of the country (fuse blew), but lucked out that it was an anniversary sale item. The barrel is a little wider than my first beach waver, but it's a welcomed change. Once you get the hang of where to place the clip (leave about an inch and a half of hair at the bottom with the clip facing your face), styling is super quick. I have long straight hair and the beach waver delivers VS style curls. Style tip: let your curls cool fully and then brush out for a more natural look.

Love my beachwaver!
I was never able to use a curling iron, until I purchased this. My hair is somewhere between straight & wavy..I always just straightened it. This is so easy to use & you get faster with each use! Definitely a game changer. I have a whole other look now besides just straight hair. Nothing wrong with straight hair--I still straighten my hair. It's just great to have another easy & quicker option. If you've never curled your hair or used a curling iron, you need this in your life!

Worth every penny
I decided to give the beachwaver a try because of the great price during the anniversary sale. It is surprisingly easy to use and I am very happy with the results. I have used other cheap wands that are nowhere near as good as this. Totally worth the money! I would recommend watching some YouTube videos on how to use this, but otherwise super easy and worth every penny! Also, I was worried that this barrel size would be too big since I have short hair (not quite shoulder lengeth). My perviousl wand was a 1 inch. I prefer the look of the 1.25 and think it is the perfect size for my hair length.

Just alright
I bought this based on the reviews and I've had a hard time getting used to it. I accidentally push the button and go the "wrong" way sometimes. So, there is a learning curve. And I wish there was a release/unwind option. For the price, I'm not thrilled.
