What it is: A floral eau de parfum built around the violet, considered the flower of modesty because it hides its flowers in heart-shaped leaves.

Fragrance story: To blend The Virgin Violet scent, a swan is imagined. Covered in soft white feathers, the delicate swan, pure and graceful, is translated in a composition of musk, violet leaves and iris petals. Its purity is nuanced with a deep character, shown when the swan spreads its wings, to reveal a bold vanilla. Inspired by the science of alchemy, Alessandro Michele reimagines the path of transformation from lead into gold with the art of fragrance.

Beautiful, wonderful item but arrived defective

This is NOT Nordstrom's fault, nor is it the carrier's fault. This was a manufacturing defect. The spray mechanism arrived bent to one side. Some of the perfume had leaked out. I have not been able to straighten the spray mechanism out so I can not put this bottle in my purse for fear it will leak out. I also bought Gucci's The Alchemist's Garden A Song for the Rose and that one arrived the exact same way (the sprayer was bent) but I was able to fix it and it works perfectly. Beautiful bottle and a wonderful scent. Not very long lasting though. These are manufacturing defects.

Jus perfect for every occasion

Beautiful scent , very fresh and whimsical if you’re into that kind of scent I’m usually a very clean and sweet scent kind of person but this privé collection from Gucci is not only beautiful but smells and preforms amazingly
