perfect work travel dress

I normally wear a 6–8 and ordered this in a small. It fits perfectly and is very comfortable and flattering. I’m about to head out on a few business trips to New York, London and Madrid and this will be a great dress for work to dinner. Very lightweight, has light lining and seems like it will pack well and not wrinkle.

Too long

Got the large and the shoulders and waist were comfortably loose but the length was way off on my 5’4 frame. It reached my ankles not mid calf as shown in photos.

Had such promise

I loved the online images- I’m a sucker for an interesting neckline or cut. The materials seem great is soft and stretchy but feels a little cheap in construction (why can’t things be lined all the way down?) I also tried two different sizes and both colors, willing to accept the fabric, but all of them had weird issues with the back zipper not laying flat. It gave me a big bump in the middle of my back.

Not impressed

I wear a 8-10 in dresses and purchased not the M and L. The L fit a little bitter but honestly, neither were a great fit and didn’t love the textured fabric, seemed a little cheap to me. Returned.

Nice dress but did not work out

I have a lot of Nordstrom work dresses and love them, but this one didn’t work out for me. I love the color of this dress. But the neckline didn’t lay quite right on me and I didn’t know how it would look after a few washes. It runs long. I am 5’2” and it was more like a maxi dress than a midi dress.
