Textured Knit Crewneck Top

This Madewell shirt looks basic with an upgrade - the lace trim around the collar gives it an extra edge. However, it’s very stretchy and long which would be best for a longer torso or if you’re tired of raising your arm(s) up and having your shirt go up with them. Oddly enough though, the lace detail is NOT stretchy. So, either be prepared to put on the shirt before applying any makeup or be okay with some makeup transfer when getting dressed. In the end, I’m going to return this one because it’s longer than I’d prefer, and the lack of stretch around the neckline was annoying. I’m sure this will be the right top for someone else.

Beautiful shirt, trendy and looks nice with the lace detail however it is small around the neckline so be prepared. I would definitely say size up due to that

The quality of this top for the price is meh. I ordered my true size M and the neck hole was very small and I have a small head. I found the neckline to be ill-fitted, pulling and constrictive with no give, and the top narrow in the shoulders. I'm petite and the where the shoulders hit made it look like I have broad shoulders, which I do not. The material is also thinner than I expected. Looked alright on an influencer, but I did not find this practical for real life. I'm usually S or M and this is how the M fit. Returning.

you’ll want to size up for neck comfort i think. there is zero stretch in the lace, it scratches your face putting it on. overall i think the fit runs small.
