The Teva brand was born in 1984 in the Grand Canyon, when a river guide rigged two Velcro watchbands to an old pair of flip-flops to create a shoe that wouldn't float away. Was not expecting to love them
Ordered my first pair of Tevas and I immediately fell in love!! I honestly wasn’t expecting to like them but needed something to take on a trip to Hawaii. They are extremely comfortable and stylish. I have a wide foot and usually need to size up. I’m normally a 6 1/2 and ordered the 6 and 7. The 7 was a bit to long for and the 6 fit perfectly!! Definitely recommend!!

very uncomfortable surface
I have quite a few pairs of Teva's and thought these were really cute. The surface of the sandal where the sole of your foot hits is hatched and very uncomfortable. I suppose if your feet are very rough you might not have a problem, but they hurt the first step I tried.

Birkenstock size 38 is Teva size 8
I'm usually a 7.5 and in Birkenstocks I'm size 38. The Tevas size 8 were a perfect fit! I did not see this info posted anywhere, so I hope that is useful for someone!

Love these Tevas
I have been eying these Universal Flatform Tevas for a few months. I finally bought them and am so happy I did! I usually wear a 7 1/2 and I had to get a size 7. They fit perfectly. I ended up buying the leopard pair for my 12 yr old daughter she loved them so much! These are so comfy but make sure you adjust the straps accordingly.

Disappointing
I was looking forward to receiving these sandals because I thought they were great looking online. They really are great looking in person, but I just wish they were comfortable. I found that the straps were somewhat stiff and dug into my feet ( I have narrow feet, so I don't think my feet were the issue). The other thing that I found strange was that though the platform soles are uniformly firm, my heels seemed to sink into into the rear of the insole and I felt I was walking uphill, as in one of those earth brand shoes of the past. No, my weight isn't the issue either. Oh well......

BEST WALKING SHOE EVERRRR
I walked A LOT on cobblestone streets in Lisbon, Spain, and hiked beaches and my feet were intact at the end of day. I made the mistake of wearing my Birkenstocks one afternoon and my feet resented me. Trust me, you need these!

High fashion at comfort level
These platforms sandles are wonderful..I just got these yesterday and couldn't wait to strap them on. I have very narrow feet so I am always looking for adjustable straps and these are ideal. And they are super comfortable like all Teva sandles so get them before they are gone. If you have watched any of the designer spring/summer fashion shows you will have seen the sport platform down the runway. These are less than $50!! Get them before they are gone.
