It's been 30 years since a Grand Canyon river guide created the first pair of Tevas with a watch strap and a flip-flop, and while the construction has been perfected, the design—and the brand's spirit of adventure—remains the same. Renowned for its durability, the original sport sandal has become recognized by explorers the world over. This pair features nylon webbing, a cushioned footbed and a striped flatform sole, finished with a Durabrasion Rubber™ sole that offers great traction in varied conditions.

The Teva brand was born in 1984 in the Grand Canyon, when a river guide rigged two Velcro watchbands to an old pair of flip-flops to create a shoe that wouldn't float away.
