Terracotta Kabuki Powder Brush

Initially I couldn't bring myself to spend this much on a brush that is synthetic fibers despite the beautiful design. I have a hard time paying more than $30 for brushes in general that are not fude. But I am starting to deviate from that because synthetic has it's definite pros and as long as the overall quality is there, I can justify the purchase. That being said, I went in-store to see this in person and feel it myself. The design is gorgeous, size is perfect for a kabuki and I LOVE anything wood and especially paired with gold. The fibers though, felt kind of cheap and pretty rough to the touch. But just like color swatches, you shouldn't just go off of that. It's always a different experience once you actually use or apply something on yourself. I was very pleasantly surprised that once you swipe the brush on the face, it's not bad at all. I have definitely used or tried brushes that feel way more rough and prickly on the face where it's uncomfortable and I've tossed them. It's still not the softest, but it wasn't nearly as rough as it feels just by touching with fingers or swiping across the back of your hand. But the best part of it all, this brush truly is the BEST pair to the OG bronzer. I will forever love and use their Terracotta bronzers as it is my #1. Absolutely. I love many other bronzers and appreciate them very much. But theirs is my ride or die bronzer for life. To me, everything about it is perfection with one slight drawback that I personally didn't mind dealing with. If you know, you know. Their unique formula tends to hard-pan and finding the right brush was not the easiest. In addition you have to stay on top of that, either by scratching it or using tape to remove the film. Not with this brush!!! Because of that slight roughness, the brush itself removes or impedes, rather, for that film to form! Ever since I bought it, there's no more hard-pan. There's only smooth, beautiful terracotta that applies like a DREAM. It literally brings out the best of the bronzer. The density is perfect. It's not so saturated with bristles where it packs too much punch, rather a balanced flexibility with the slight angle of shorter to longer bristle length to deliver a timeless, TRULY natural application of warmth, light and radiance no other bronzer does in my opinion. I am so, so happy I finally tried it and I am on my way to purchasing a couple back-ups because it's that good.

My cheaper brush just doesn’t do the wonderful Guerlain Bronzer justice. The Guerlain Bronzer brush, is especially shaped with natural hair to apply my beautiful product exactly where I chose to apply it, a little more on my cheeks and brow. And softly, softly on my face, neck and lips. Yes it helps my lipstick stay on longer. I love my cute little brush!
