Best ballet I've had this far
Shoe fits a tiny bit small for a 42. I'll assume it's a 27.5 rather than a 27.7cm
It does fit your foot snug-ly, it is cushioned well, and the back is /low/ for anyone that typically has issues with most backs-of-shoes that rub (in a bad way).
For people having issues with sizing that are serious about getting your correct size:
Nordstrom (or your retailer) attempts to streamline convert EU sizing to U.S. sizing. To account for their discrepancies figure out what your EU size is and maybe even cross check that with an official Ted Baker (not Nordstrom) size conversion chart.
For non-U.S shoes it is an even better method to figure out what your shoe size is in centimeters: then you don't have to worry about nuances in EU, BR, IT, etc. Origin countries which all have different size standards. (Approximate example: a 43 IT Louboutin is typically 27cm shoe whereas 43 FR is 27.5 cm shoe whereas a 42 EU Ted Baker is 27.5cm. etc.)

uncomfortable and cheap quality
This is the second pair of Kate Spade shoes that I am purchasing. While it is beautiful, it is made with poor quality. The shoe itself is not true to size. I purchased half a size bigger but it still hurts and it leaves my toenails black for some reason (my toenails are always cut short). I would not recommend purchasing any Kate Spade shoes in the future or at least they pay more attention to quality.

I read previous reviews quite a few times before purchasing. I normally wear a size 5, however the reviews were conflicting. Some said too big, some said too small....after days of thought I broke down and bought the size I normally wear. They are huge!! For me, almost a whole size in length and they are a tiny bit wide. I sent them right back immediately after trying on asking for the smaller size. I wanted this as they would be perfect for work.

Cute but narrow
These shoes are really cute but run small and tight. I’m usually a size 9 but ordered a 9.5 - the size fit perfectly but the shoe is very narrow (I don’t have a wide foot), and I felt that after wearing them for a while my feet will start hurting- unfortunately, these will have to be returned.
