Shoe fits a tiny bit small for a 42. I'll assume it's a 27.5 rather than a 27.7cm It does fit your foot snug-ly, it is cushioned well, and the back is /low/ for anyone that typically has issues with most backs-of-shoes that rub (in a bad way). For people having issues with sizing that are serious about getting your correct size: Nordstrom (or your retailer) attempts to streamline convert EU sizing to U.S. sizing. To account for their discrepancies figure out what your EU size is and maybe even cross check that with an official Ted Baker (not Nordstrom) size conversion chart. For non-U.S shoes it is an even better method to figure out what your shoe size is in centimeters: then you don't have to worry about nuances in EU, BR, IT, etc. Origin countries which all have different size standards. (Approximate example: a 43 IT Louboutin is typically 27cm shoe whereas 43 FR is 27.5 cm shoe whereas a 42 EU Ted Baker is 27.5cm. etc.)
