this shirt is not extra trim
Nordstrom extra trim shirts are only trim if you have a small neck, narrow shoulders, and short arms. If you need an 18” neck and a trim fit, this shirt is not for you: it will easily accommodate an extra hundred pounds around your midsection. I am 6’5” 217lb with an 18+” neck. I wear a 32w jean, for reference. I need the longer sleeves (36-37) and even an 18” neck feels unpleasantly tight. I was hoping “extra trim” in my size would be something of an athletic fit. Wrong. The shirt is enormous… if I tailored it, more than half the fabric in the torso would have to come off, and the sleeves would have to be redone to match it. Trim and extra trim should be distinct from regular fit, actually mean something relevant throughout the size range. They don’t.

Best dress shirt
These CoolMax shirts are incredibly comfortable and by far the best dress shirts I own. In addition, they haven't needed to be ironed for that clean, crisp look.
