Little Chef Modern Kitchen Playset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kitchen set is so adorable! I was so happy that I got to test this kitchen for free. We decided to give it to our daughter for an early birthday present. You receive a sink, oven, and a refrigerator. When put together it is two pieces. You can push it all together or they can be separated. The entire kitchen is made of wood and is very sturdy. It will last for years to come and seems to be very durable. It's light pink in color with a white sink. The sink comes with a faucet and the handles do turn. The refrigerator, oven, and sink door do open and close. The knobs on the oven and stove turn as well. There is also a little clock. The refrigerator comes with a cup and 3 ice cubes. The coolest thing is if you put the ice cubes in the ice maker and place the cup under the button and push the ice cubes come out of the ice maker. I thought that was super neat. My daughter has had a blast playing with this set and she is constantly "cooking" us food to eat. The assembly isn't hard but it is time consuming. My husband had it put together within an hour. There are many pieces but the instructions are easy to read. This kitchen is perfect for any little girl who has an interest in cooking and baking. We've had a ton of fun playing with the kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not very good at assembling things, I always seem to run into problems, but the Chelsea modern play kitchen was easy to put together and very sturdy. The instructions were step by step with enough detail for me to figure out what I was doing. Fully assembled it stands to about my mid thigh, so it's a little bit smaller than some of the other kitchens out there, but it's not plastic like they are. The pink looks exactly like the picture, which isn't want I expected, because lets face it.. Nothing ever looks like the picture! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a kitchen play set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 6 year old and wow its adorable! The ice cube area has fake ice cubes that come out when you push your cup against the dispenser,just like a real one. Theres a pretend sink but it has some depth to the sink so you could put real water in it but I'm not sure I would chance it since its wood. I would suggest taking a plastic bag and wrapping it around the removable sink area and tying it underneath and then putting water in it so it dont get ruined. All the doors open so you're able to put all the cute little accessories in there to store them. Accessories don't come with this set though. I would say the best ages would be 2-6 for this set. My husband assembled it and there were a few times he couldnt get it aligned right but other than that,assembly was fairly easy. Took about an hour and a half to put together. The quality is amazing! Thick sturdy wood! The details on this set is awesome compared to another of other kitchen sets I've seen. My daughter loves this and plays with it all the time! Highly recommended by this mama of 5!

It's the kind of play set that could be passed down through generations. So many play sets like this that are weak and dont last more than a few weeks. Hours of fun until the fighting starts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play kitchen was shipped to me. It was packaged pretty well with styrofoam. It came in a lot of pieces that you have to assemble yourself. I like how all of the pieces, screws, hardware and accessories were labeled for easy assembly following the directions. I put it all together by myself with a power drill in about 2-1/2 hours; I’m a mom without experience in power tools and had a toddler to look after at the same time. I like how the stove and refrigerator are separate so you can place the pieces side by side or separate them. Both the stove and refrigerator have a lot of storage so your child can store all of their play food, pots, pans and silverware (not included in the set). The knobs on the stove turn, the handle on the faucet turns and the ice in the dispenser comes down with a push of the cup. My 2 1/2 year-old daughter has had hours of fun since I put the kitchen together! I would highly recommend! Just make sure you set aside at least a couple hours to put it together.

My little girl has been playing with it non-stop and she just loves it! We have had many a fake meal and tea party this weekend. Thank you so much for the memories we have gained! I just love it! It was a little difficult to put together but overall was not too bad.
