Torsette Underbust Shaper

I like this product so much that I have several in the same color! It does a good job of smoothing me out and is comfortable enough to wear an entire day. The SA recommended that I wear this by stepping into it rather than slipping it from the top. That tip made it so much easier to put it on.

This shaping cami is wonderfully constructed. The straps are wide enough to be comfortable and not dig into your shoulder. There is a thick no-slip band around the bottom that prevents riding up. It is a little hard to wiggle into (I recommended stepping into it and pulling it up), but once it is on, it is extremely comfortable. The control is better than other brands I have tried, but the sizing is approximately the same - true to size. I definitely recommend it.

I needed something to smooth my belly a little under a couple of tops that emphasize that area unbecomingly. This was perfect. It was surprisingly comfortable, even when I ate a big meal. (All right, I may have adjusted it slightly over my abdomen when I sat down, but then it was fine.) It didn't perform the miracle of making my belly flat, but it did make it less noticeable, and that was all I wanted. Since it goes under the bust, it didn't compress me there. Unlike the more famous brand I tried first, it didn't make bulges where I don't even have any, or make me feel as though I were being strangled by a boa constrictor. And it didn't show under my clothing. I bought it in nude and black, and was so pleased that I picked up one more of each.

I tried on a number of kinds of Shapers. Many were just not comfortable. This Torsette was actually comfortable and was perfect for all day wear. I could fit the medium or large. I chose the large due to comfort for all day. I could tell from photos taken that I had made the right choice. I am putting 'true to size' however I believe that this is an item that must be tried on before purchase.
