What it is: A natural daily serum that works like a peel to resurface, brighten and refine with AHAs, BHAs and vitamin C to give you a daily dose of glow.

What it does: Born from Tata Harper's best-selling Resurfacing Mask, this serum transforms dullness with a combination of nine alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) that slough off dead skin cells to give you a healthy-looking glow. Antioxidants help fight the effects of free radicals that can diminish your glow and make you look older than you are. This lightweight formula restores radiance with a special blend of AHAs, BHAs and antioxidants to give you healthy-looking skin and a glowing complexion. AHAs are exfoliation miracle workers that help get rid of dead skin cells, to retexturize and even skin tone. BHAs are exfoliators that help fight through oil to get rid of buildup, which cleans and clears clogged pores and improves overall skin clarity.

How to use: Massage one to two pumps onto face and neck in the morning and evening.

Pro tips: To maximize your results, apply the serum with your face still damp from your essence. Essences are the best way to soup up your serums. Really saturate your skin with the essence and apply your serum while your skin is still damp. It will help a little bit of serum go a long way.

One of the best serums I've tried...

I tried the Resurfacing mask and honestly wasn't overly impressed with it. The Resurfacing serum on the other hand is a fantastic product. In terms of ingredients it's full of botanicals, fruit-derived AHA's and BHA from Willow bark extract (a mainstay in most TH products). At the same time it loses the essential oils so prevalent in some of her other products, and thus opening it up to more sensitive skin types. However, the fragrance in here is derived from essential oils so there's no escaping them totally, although thankfully they're towards the end of the ingredients list, meaning a very small concentration. The texture of the serum is light and non-greasy, sinking in effortlessly and allowing my moisturizer to go on comfortably over it. I use one pump of this before bed time only, not during the day. Best of all are the results: it fades blemishes, whilst flattening any acne that pops up (rare but happens from time to time), makes my skin glow and makes it feel incredibly smooth. This product is an example of very good marketing, but poor product! Smells great, but so does soap. Expensive nonsense.

TH Resurfacing Serum: Smooth

Lightweight beige liquid gel is gentle, absorbs quickly, light natural scent. Serum version of the mask that does the same thing. I prefer the mask and exfoliating scrubs in the morning so I can use other hydrating high performance serums and face oils day and night. Good timesaver for someone who doesn’t do regular exfoliating.

Resurfacing Serum

As always, Tata Harper does not disappoint! The Resurfacing Serum goes on smoothly and leaves my skin feeling great without being oily or shiny. I can tell a difference in my the evenness of my skin tone and my pores are noticeably smaller with just a week of use. Highly recommend!

A Must Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m absolutely in love with this product. As an again gal I’m getting dryer and dryer skin so have active to exfoliate my face is next level. I’ve never been a vitamin C gal because I’ve been sensitive to vitamin C but reading the ingredients I had high hopes. I was so right I use it before makeup and it layers so good. So I do skincare then sunscreen than makeup I can’t tell you enough to use sunscreen when using these actives before going out in sunlight. I’ve seen a big difference in my dark spots on my face. They look like freckles but I can tell the difference cause I do have mild freakles. I can’t recommend this enough cause some Vitamin C burn or tingle I didn’t get that at all which I really appreciate it. No strong fragrance at all. *This review was collected as part of a promotion.

Amazing for oily skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This serum is perfection for my oily combination skin. It has a very light texture that absorbs into the skin without leaving any sticky residue.  I have applied it on its own and under makeup and both ways I have had no issue with any pilling or separating my makeup throughout the day. I have noticed a huge oil production during the day when I use this! Normally I would need to blot within a couple hours, but while using this serum my skin stays hydrated but not greasy.  Over time I have seen my pore be less visible, my over skin have a beautiful healthy glow. My post acne marks are slowly getting lighter and overall my skin is more clear! *This review was collected as part of a promotion.

Pigmentation disappears

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Tata Harper products and this one is not exclusion.I decided to try this Resurfacing & Brightening Serum because after summer my skin was looking dull with noticeable pigmentation from all the time I spent in the sun. I have been using it for about two weeks and I already started seeing changes in my skin, pigmentation and uneven tone are less noticeable.My skin looks brighter and more refreshed. I have sensitive combination to oily skin with enlarged pores an this serum works great on me without over-drying my skin. It has lightweight texture that absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling smooth, hydrated without being sticky or oily.Also it works welI with the make up. I love its natural scent of herbs, calendula, jasmine and lemongrass that gives that spa like aroma that makes the whole experience feel luxurious.The scent is noticeable right after applying, however it disappears within a few minutes.Overall I love this product and I'll keep using it to maintain that healthy looking glow in my skin. *This review was collected as part of a promotion.
