Makeup Melting Ritual Set $108 Value

During winter, my combination oily-dehydrated skin often veers much more towards the 'dehydrated' side and any extra form of hydration becomes a welcome relief. Case in point: TH's Nourishing Oil Cleanser. I was given a deluxe sample size of it back in January, which I used up in just over a week. The texture is surprisingly light for an oil-based cleanser, and yet it dissolves all but the heaviest of makeup, without drying out my skin further. It probably helped that I'd usually spend up to a minute working this into my face. Used on its own I did find it left a very slight 'film' on my skin, which is why I quickly learnt to follow with either the Regenerating or Purifying cleanser. The product itself is quite strongly fragranced which may not be to some people's liking, but personally it didn't bother nor surprise me as most TH products are quite fragranced and I'm used to it by now. The only thing that did surprise me is that Tata chose Sunflower oil (!) from all the amazing and quality oils out there, as the first and main ingredient in here. If I picked up a drugstore oil cleanser and discovered it was primarily Sunflower oil, I wouldn't think twice about purchasing that, after all the price would reflect what it contains. This product on the other hand costs a premium, I would have expected the primary ingredient to reflect that. This oil cleanser is one of the best I've ever tried--smells beautiful, removes makeup and dirt/grime quickly and easily, and is made with trustworthy ingredients. The packaging, however, is a total deal breaker. I appreciate the glass jar, but the pump is absolutely worthless. 90% of the time I can't even get oil to come out, and the other 10% of the time, when I can manage to get some oil out, it spurts out all over everything in sight. The oil has stained pjs, towels, and squirted onto every inch of my counter. Will not buy again or recommend to anyone until the pump is changed or fixed. However, not going to return it because the oil itself is top notch.

love love love this. it makes your skin so smooth and soft. i use it also as an eyemakeup remover and it removes it ALL. no more racoon eyes in the am. i cleanse with this first all over my face and then use another tata harper cleanser. my skin has never been better. no breakouts no reactions. get this you won't regret it!

Although this product is a bit pricier than I normally spend to cleanse my face, it is worth every penny. I use one small pump, and wipe with a warm wash cloth. A little goes a long ways, so I don't see this needing to be replaced as quickly as other cleansers I have used over the years. My skin is clean and soft after I use it. I live in a cold winter climate, and my face never really felt dry last winter. It also smells beautiful if you don't mind that it has a light scent. I'm 59 with decent skin as I have always taken care of it. I will definitely purchase this again. It's actually a bargain considering how well it cleanses, and how little you need to achieve a perfectly cleansed face.
