Should be a great shoe
I liked everything about this shoe except the width. I have a high instep and this shoe has adjustable straps which work. Except the exposed Velcro fasteners snap the fabric of my clothes.

Needed a sturdy sandal after breaking foot
I love flip flops, but since breaking my foot due to a weak ankle, both Dr & P.T. said no more. Another accident waiting to happen. I had heard of Taos & since I needed a sandal with arch support, ankle strap & a low heel, I decided to order this model. I love them as they are very comfortable & my foot feels secure with the ankle strap. I chose navy, but am planning on ordering white for summer.
