Better than photo. Substantial fabric, beautifully made. Color is dark midnight blue. My only gripe is the gold snap bar is rigid and hard to unsnap and I hope it will loosen up overtime. I am thinking of wearing the crop jacket with a black watch kilt. Together, the sheath and jacket are simple, understated elegance. I am a size 8, 5’7” 130 and it fits as if it were made for me.

The dress is well made with enough weight to hold its shape. The gold closure adds interest to the dress.

Not sure about the sleeves...
The sleeves fell in between 3/4 length and full length, so it didn't quite look polished. I couldn't look past that so unfortunately it had to go back. The idea is a great one, though. Maybe a person with a longer torso would handle the cropped jacket better than I could.
