Sleeveless Eyelet Tiered Dress

I've been looking for an eyelet dress for the summer and was hopeful that this would work. Not the case! This dress is cut very slim and just fits oddly. The seam for the first tier hits right at the hip line (on me at 5'3", longish torso). If you have any hips at all, it is tight right at the hip joint area and limits your movement. It does not flare out from the waist as shown on the model. There is no stretch at all to the fabric. It may work for someone with a very straight body type. Nice patterning and 100% cotton fabric though. Sad to send it back!

The breathable material, details with embroidery eyelets, and tie waist, ticked all my boxes. This dress I purchased for my vacation trip to France and it was perfect for the warm summer weather. I am happy with my purchase. I will be wearing this dress on repeat. One negative is the zipper keeps getting jammed and needed my husband's assistance.

I really wanted to keep this dress. I purchased in 2 different sizes: a 6 and an 8 in the green “Caper” color. The color was attractive. However, both dresses had a weird fit across the bodice. It was too tight and the sleeveless cutouts were low and did not conceal my bra. As a previous viewer mentioned, the flounce seam is at an unflattering place along the hip line. I’m 5’4” and the skirt area was unflattering and the bodice fit was too tight. I’m returning both sizes.
