Tagliatelle Linen Dress

I typically do not spend this much on items but the quality & fit of this dress is worth it. The floral pattern is what I fell in love with. I really love reformation's sustainability and high quality fabrics (I've been trying to shop less but higher quality). Sadly, most of their cuts are just not made for my pear shape. Enter: this dress. The bodice is well structured and the faux corset is adorable. The a-line skirt doesn't squeeze my hips and is incredibly flattering. The straps are adjustable with hidden buttons. And it's fully lined with POCKETS. If you're on the fence, just get it! It will be a staple for many years to come :)

I was so excited to see this dress on me because I plan on wearing it in Positano this July. I love Reformation dresses and I usually wear a size 4 or 6 depending on the dress. I’m a true size 4 at 134 and 5’6”. The linen is great quality and the print is beautiful. Sadly it doesn’t have pockets. I purchased a 6 but it was too big. I exchanged it for a size 4 but found that the bust is still pretty loose and roomy on me and I’m a 34DD! I tried to shorten the straps but it still doesn’t fix the looseness in the bust area. At this point I might have to wait until a size 2 comes in so I can try that on.

This is one of the most beautiful dresses ever purchased (easily #1 favorite this year). It is incredibly flattering on a curvy and/or pear shaped figure and makes me look thinner than I actually am (purchased the black and can wear with a black balconette bra (although slightly showing in corner because it is the same color you can’t tell/looks to be part of the dress). I am generally a size 8 (10 in high designer brands) and the 8 fit to perfection and love the forgiving elastic back (10 was a little loose). Straps are adjustable and at the shortest length if not short enough you can easily add more holes and or just pull in existent hole to sew shorter. So beautiful and feminine I am thinking of purchasing more in other colors.
