Taekwondo Sneaker (Women)

Absolutely stunning! These shoes are a work of art, featuring an ultra-shiny platinum silver finish with a mesmerizing crackle effect. The iconic Adidas triple-stripe design (with what I believe is called the “3-pipe” detailing) runs sleekly down each side, adding to their unique aesthetic. They’re slip-ons with no laces, offering a snug, comfortable fit with a slightly wide toe box that feels great even on first wear—no breaking-in required. The back of the shoe is soft and supportive, so there’s no discomfort. However, they do run very large. I typically wear a size 9.5, but I had to size down to an 8, and honestly, I could even fit into a 7.5. Fit aside, these shoes are everything. Beyond their comfort, they’re incredibly versatile—perfect with jeans, a chic blazer, or even a dress. Whether dressed up for a night out or dressed down for casual errands, they exude effortless, trés chic vibes.

Stalked these online but my size always sold out. Then I started seeing them on fashion blogs and posts. Finally my size came back - 8.5 - and I snagged them. I love fashion kicks, the more fashion forward, the better and these are the epitome of that. Plus the fit is dead on perfect. They’ll have a favored place in my Adidas trainers collection.

One reviewer said that they were less shiny than they anticipated. For me it was the opposite- these, too me, are quite shiny. If you're walking across a parking lot on a sunny day, you might blind someone for a second. But the crackle is really cool and overall I do like the shoe. A few things I didn't like which led to my not keeping them: the top of the shoe by the ankle is bulky and a bit puffy looking. Likely because these could actually be worn for wearing on a taekwondo mat. For a fashion sneaker I don't prefer that look. I had to size down from a 7 to a 6 to get the right fit in the foot, but then they were hard to get on. If you can tolerate a longer shoe or have a very low profile foot it might not be an issue. Using a shoehorn did not help much. Finally, the tongue on this shoe hit where the top of my foot meets the lower leg. It's quite long, and a bit stiff. Looks like leather so it will probably soften but it seems like it would be quite uncomfortable in the meantime. The tongue of adidas are never as short as I'd like them to be so maybe this won't bother others. I thought it would be fine because it looked like it was neoprene (which imo would be ugly but comfortable). Not so. If none of these issues bother you you might love these. The foot bed is comfortable (a little bit of arch support) but I would never exercise or run in these without expecting injury- they're not meant for that. And the width was fine for my almost wide feet.

I usually wear an 8.5 to a 9. I sized down like other reviews mentioned to an 8 but I probably could get away with a 7.5. The 8 slips a little when walking. The shoe will seem tight while trying to slip it on but there is plenty of space once you get it on. Beautiful shoe!!! Can't wait to get it in white.
