Beautiful in Blue
Absolutely Beautiful Tadashi Blue Gown. The gown fits True to Size. I am 61 yrs old, 5’ 3”, 120 lbs. I wear a size 4 and it fit perfectly. It seems all formal gowns are too long, so I had it altered by Nordstrom’s. Their Seamstress hemmed it and removed the train. (I was afraid I would trip over it, but it was not very long.) The Seamstress also took up the shoulders and the arms to a little above my elbows. (I have skinny arms.) I LOVE the lace sleeves. The Blue color is so very pretty. The Seamstress did a great job with the alterations. The dress is very well made. It has a very nice lining. I wore light gold high heel shoes and carried a light gold evening bag. I received so many compliments. I wore it to a formal evening at a conference with 300+ ladies. When I walked into the Banquet Room, I felt like all the women in the room turned to look at me. lol. Blue has always been a good color for me.
I want to Thank the Pretty Lady who wrote the first review and included her picture. She looked Beautiful in this dress and that influenced me to get it. I sure am glad I did. I have another conference in 1-1/2 years and I plan to wear it then, too.
