Tabi Ballet Flat

I love tabi’s, they fit great and are super cute, except that Nordstrom sent me a damaged pair. By just checking the sole you can clearly see that the shoe was worn previously as it has marks and stains. There is a stain on the back of the shoe, the seam on the side is pulling, and there are 3 large creases on the toe of the shoe. This is the second time I’ve purchased shoes from Nordstrom and they came damaged. The last time I returned my Prada sneakers in store for being scuffed and worn, they told me “it wasn’t that bad” and only resolved the issue when I insisted on them sending me an actual new pair. When you spend $1000 on shoes, they shouldn’t come pre-worn or damaged. It’s a much safer bet to just purchase direct from Margiela.

If you want a neutral colour your won’t scuff up, this is it. Runs 1/2 small so I went from 7 to 7.5. Love them!

These are not brown. They’re more of a gray/ taupe. Go up a half size if you have wider feet.

These shoes are stunning, however, I am a TRUE size US 9.5, and they were at least one FULL size smaller than my typical 9.5. The reason for two stars is because the packaging was obnoxious. There was a return sticker, dirt prints, tears, and crinkled tissue inside. For a pair of $1,000+ shoes, this is completely unacceptable. Nordstrom is the only retailer that had the larger size I need in stock, so I reordered, otherwise, I would have ordered directly from MM.
