T Tahari Wool Blend Belted Wrap Coat

I have been lusting after this coat since last year, so when it went on sale I immediately bought it. I initially bought it in the deep wine color, and when it came I loved it so much I bought it in the black, too! It is such a flattering coat and makes every outfit chic. The shawl collar can be pulled up and worn as a hood against the cold, making it practical in addition to gorgeous. I get compliments from every person I see when I wear this coat, which is half the fun haha!I highly recommend! xo

it runs quite large. I bought a small (my regular size) but I should have gotten an extra small. it's so cozy and perfect for winter. can even flip up the large collars for a makeshift hood should you get caught in a snowstorm or rain unexpectedly! ;)

I am typically a size 6(small) top (34B), based on reviews I opted to go with a medium instead of small, I'm glad I did because it left a me some extra room for scarves and heavier sweaters. I'm 5'5 and about 135lbs or so and I felt the length great and the overall fit pretty good. What I disliked was that there is no button on the inside to help keep it closed but also the collar is quite heavy so it take a lot of maneuvering to get it in the position you like with out restricting your arms. Once you got it in place I feel like it didn't stay that way. With some getting used to I'm sure that I could get it to what I wanted. If you want a coat to throw on and go with not much fuss, this isn't the coat for you. I could deal with all of that if the color and fabric were as pictured. The Macrame didn't have the warm creamy tone that was on the website. Overall it just look dirty and depressing. If you have fair skin it definitely will wash you out and make you look quite sickly. It was more of a gray beige. The fabric seemed much cheaper as well. I wasn't a fan of the quality. I have no problem spending a lot of money on something that is good quality. For the price I expected much more. I've seen better quality coats at Burlington.

I'm 5'3", 107lbs. XS fits me perfectly, it falls right above my knees. I ordered the black and the camel color. Decided to keep the black as the camel looks like a bath robe on me. So if you are indecisive, get both colors and try it on.

I'm really torn. The coat is lovely, nicely lined, well made and it fits with a flattering cut. I wear size M/10. All of those benefits, I'd give the coat 5 stars. However, the coat doesn't have a closure besides the belt/tie. While you can pull the shawl collar over your head, there is no way to fasten the top to keep you warm and protected from the elements. It's a lovely fashion coat, but not sure it's realistic for the day-to-day bad winter weather realities. I'll likely return it, unfortunately.

I love it! I'm on business in Seattle and it was colder than I expected. I bought the coat on-line and picked up it up in the store blocks from my hotel. The collar can be worn several ways - up as a hood to shield my hair from the Seattle rain, down as shown, or bunched around like a scarf. I LOVE the color, it's a light sand. The material is soft. The coat looks great over jeans, dresses, and even business suits. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made!!!
