T by Alexander Wang Pocket Tee

I purchased this t-shirt in white and in x-small. Although I love this t-shirt, I gave it a four-star rating because this t-shirt shrank after only one washing -- and I didn't even place it in the dryer. (I always wash most of my clothes in cold water using either the delicate or hand wash cycle. I also tend to use Woolite detergent, especially with designer items that can be laundered in the washing machine. I moreover line dry nearly all of my clothing.) Initially, this t-shirt hung on my frame like that pictured online; it actually hung on my frame like a tunic. (In fact, one stylist at Via C suggested that I could wear this t-shirt like a tunic.) After washing (as described above), the t-shirt shrank considerably in length. When new, the hem hung several inches below my hips, but after washing, the hem only reached my hipbones. I was disappointed at first, but the t-shirt still retained its wonderful slouchy fit in the body. I don't know how you can keep this t-shirt from shrinking in length (unless you dry clean it, though dry cleaning may yellow the white version of this t-shirt).

This is a great, yet expensive tee. I hand wash it, like instructed, but I think if you hand wash all your tees they would remain in good condition. So I don't know if I would say the construction and stitching would justify the price. However the material is wonderful. They synthetic allows it not to wrinkle and to drape very nicely. It does shrink up a bit. I'm 5'5 size 27 j brand and carry my weight in my upper body. I initially got a small but it wasn't as flattering to my tummy, slightly tight in my shoulders and didnt flatter and fit snugly against my 34d/dd chest. So I got the medium and it is much better. The neck is low, but not vulgar-though I'm careful when I bend down. It shrunk up to a good long length.

Initially I was hesitant to purchase this tee due to its relatively high price tag, but I decided to give it a shot based on the rave reviews. I'm extremely glad that I did because this shirt exceeded my expectations and has become my favorite shirt to wear. The shirt is very comfortable and it has an amazing drape to it, which means that unlike other plain tees I've purchased in the past it does not highlight any unflattering curves (e.g. stomach). It also wrinkles a lot less frequently than my cotton tees. Also, I own this tee in both white and heather grey & strongly prefer the heather grey as it isn't sheer at all. I am rather petite (5'1'') and the shirt is on the longer end, so I frequently tuck it in a little at the front. I don't mind the length, but it is something to note.

This is my 3rd time buying this shirt. I love Alexander Wang's tees, tanks, and shirt dresses. They are so comfy and easy to wear casual or dressed up with heels. Be careful that you don't accidentally throw them in the wash though- they tear easily, which is the one downside. But I love them too much and they are the most comfortable and versatile tee.

it may seem a bit expensive for a t-shirt but is totally worth it. fits like a glove, slouchy boyfriend fit. goes with everything. i'm 5 6, 120 pounds and got a small. just be extra careful when washing so it doesn't shrink. i had previously got an xs and even though i put the washer on hand wash and hung it to dry, it shrunk too small.

Very good quality, and so stylish! I love it so much!!
