Doesn't fade suede color
Haven't used the 'cleaner' yet. Sprayed the Protector on brand new suede purse and new unworn suede shoes.
Was worried because, for me, $200 is a lot for shoes and a purse. Deep dark navy blue.
Sprayed 8 inches away in a 'fan' sweep mist. Didn't let it heavily coat one area. Waited 24 hours and sprayed again. The purse has a combination of suede, leather and patent leather. (I wiped the patent leather after spraying, no residual marks/spots). The shoes are all suede. Heel and all.
BOTH came out without a problem. I sat them on white paper to 'dry' and there was not a dribble or spot where any of the navy dye came came off or dripped. NO fading of the deep navy.
No, I haven't walked in water or snow. (Live in the deep south). And I"m NOT going to walk in water until after the event I bought them for. THEN, I might walk in water. I'll let you know. LoL
I don't THINK I'm wild about the brush. The hard white silicone nubby side seems to streak the suede/want to mar or flatten down the nap. So I used the wire brush/nylon brush side, and had it tilted/angled to the nylon brush side, in order to raise the nap on the suede a bit before spraying. No need to use the dark wire part yet, shoes unworn.
All in all though, I'm VERY happy with, at least, the protector. SO FAR.

Wire bristle brush
This protectant is what they recommend in the salon shoes department for even delicate suede- but per their recommendation, I passed on the brush. The center bristles are metal (copper?) and better for more rugged suede. (Although I'm sure the bristles work great for caked- on mud, etc.). I am ordering the separate brush with nylon bristles.

Stained my YSL purse
I don’t recommend this for light colors. I had a small black mark, which was removed, but now instead I have this ring.

Does its job!
I have been very pleased with the protectant and the cleaning product. I have been using the products on light tan suede and dark grey suede and could not be happier with the quality.

Great Stuff!!!
I cannot say enough about this stuff.......I got a grease spot on the toe of my R & B bootie and could not get it off. Then I remembered that Nordstroms carried products for this and immediately ordered this kit. I was skeptical but I used it and it worked. I was so happy especially since they were brand new booties.

Great product
This was a great product. I have many pair of suede shoes that some I have worn already and some I have not. The ones that I have worn and have gotten alittle dirty, the cleaner worked very well! The ones I have not worn, I sprayed the protector on and it did not discolor my shoes at all. Overall I would buy this product again
