Sylt 2.0 Slide Sandal (Women)

These are my first pair of Birkenstocks. Very cute sandal for minimal effort style. Yet, I'm going to return bc they are so uncomfortable. For being a flat sandal the are so hard, my feet got tired after 1 hour of using them. Not worth the price. I'm curious if all Birkenstocks have a hard sole?

I’d resisted the big buckle slides for the past few summers, just because I already had the big buckle in the traditional birk style. When I saw this slide, I knew it was what I wanted. Less dressy without the buckle, but I loved the muted mustard color and texture. Great slide for comfort and less dressy, but versatile enough. Works for casual work day, sundress, or linen cropped pants and shorts.

I really love the look of these. They are casual to kick around in during the day. Unfortunately, I have long toes, so my third and fourth to rub on the lip of the shoes edge. I returned the first pair and bought a size up to see if that would help with that but they still rub. I will wear them around the house for a little while to see if I’ll be able to tolerate that. I really want to love these shoes.

These are not my first pair of Birkenstock sandals but they kill my feet. I wore them yesterday and I have two blister like sores on both feet on my third toe from the rubbing of the strap part. I tried to make them looser and they were hard to walk in. I will try again maybe adjusting more. They are beautiful sandals.
