Sydney Underwire High Impact Sports Bra

Very comfortable bra. I wear a 38 G and am always looking for support - this bra has that. Why only 4 stars? It still has the underwire poke in the middle on sheerer shirts. Not as bad as the Simone, but still there. Hoping that the expert designers at Wacoal can someday fix that for those of us with big girls.

Love the feel of the material, it's very comfortable on. However...I can't get enough support for HIIT or running with the straps as is, and it is nigh impossible to get on/off as a racerback. Even then, I'm unable to tighten it enough to provide the necessary support for longer runs and workouts. I'm a 34E and this is usually the issue for me as I have very dense, heavy breasts. I had to stop wearing the Simone because I was in between sizes...but maybe I'll try it again.

May be my new holy grail. I have previously worn the Wacoal Simone, but the center wires always showed through my workout too which made me a bit uncomfortable. So I started a new search. I found an interim option, but still wasn’t fully satisfied so tried search Wacoal again as I find their Retro Chic as my best non-sore option. I tried the Sydney in a 36ddd but found it too small in the cups. Return (love Amazon) and re-ordered in a 36g. Wow! This bra is almost perfect for me. The PROs: it comes in my size! Hallelujah. It is so darn frustrating to try to find a sports bra in a larger cup size - do larger busted women not workout? - that actually fits, supports, offers adjustment for the straps, (crosses in the back if you want to), looks good, doesn’t ride up in the back, has no seams in the front, has at least one pretty color (so far - Bel Air blue), and is comfortable! My only CON so far is that the front of the band does roll a bit. Keep in mind I am 60 years old and I do not have a flat stomach. I wore this bra to workout with my trainer and it didn’t move other than the minor front roll. The front only rolls when I bend, but does stay flat for me when I’m straight (which isn’t frequently when working out). When I readjust the front band it goes back in place. The wires do no poke through in the middle of my chest like the Simone did due to the new Sydney design with lower underwire, but a higher front panel. The wires are also surprisingly comfortable. I didn’t come home and want to rip this bra off and in fact, am considering this as a daily wear bra. I love that the shape is good (not smushed) and round with no seams for a natural look. So far I am absolutely thrilled with this bra and went back to order another in blue and one in black (I skipped the white as it’s not the best color for a workout bra in my opinion). I hope more colors will come out soon. Thank you Wacoal for making a fantastic product for us bigger busted workout girlies.
