Happy Lilly Maxi
I have the blue/shell Sydney from 2024. I just purchased the new green print Sydney. It’s a very flattering, comfortable, happy dress. Size down 1 size and it’s perfect. For reference, I am 5ft. 5 1/2 inches, and the length is perfect. I wear a size 8, 36 bust, and the small is a perfect fit.

Looks awful
I’m sorry, but this dress is truly hideous. And I am a massive Lilly fan who buys several dresses, matching daughter outfits and swimsuits every year. I can’t understand all the great reviews. This dress has zero shape. It looks like a mumu on. I’m 5’7 140 lbs 47 years old and take a small in Lilly, so it’s that’s what I ordered. Hubby said it looked like a maternity dress on me. Truly ugly. What happened to all the beautiful cuts on long dresses Lilly used to have, like the Pearce maxi and the Vyra? Those styles truly flattered the feminine shape. This Sydnee style just makes me look like a shapeless blob. Definitely the worst Lilly I’ve ever purchased. Returning.

So Disappointed
So disappointed. I had read that this ran large but it was HUGE. I usually wear a large depending upon the cut. Ordered the Large and I was literally swimming in this dress. I thought about returning for the medium but I am afraid the silhouette is what the problem may be. Not just the bodice but the arm wholes were big, yet the shoulder straps fit fine as well as the hip/waist area. Fabric is cotton and it does appear to easily wrinkle. Print is very pretty. Length was great for me as I am 5'10", not a maxi but not a midi either.

the ALMOST perfect dress
This dress was A LMOST perfect. Love the gorgeous soft print. Fabric soft and flow. And free shawl that came with it was the icing on the cake. But reluctantly I must return it because while it fit in the bust area it was generally too large and too long overall. A size down would not fit bust area. I would not hesitate to recommend this dress but check size guide first. Perfect dress but not for my figure.

So versatile
These dresses are so easy - lightweight material, nice chest coverage, and flowy so it’s not hot. Cute paired with a denim jacket as well. I like it better than a Malone because it doesn’t have strings.
