I have owned and used this style for about 2 years. The problem I have with this is 1) The size of the container makes it difficult to open. 2) the interior container lid doesn’t always seal or go down properly. I’m a factory worker and it does the job for keeping my food at the right temp. It is a good purchase. Just please SWELL fix the issues. Thank you.

I was after a thermal container that had a wide enough opening to be able to fully mix my food up if I was adding additional topping etc. Without the insert, the bowl is a generous size for salads, and with the insert the size is perfect for soups and stews. If I need a larger meal, then I use the smaller S'well for sides such as rice. For hot meals, my food is still hot 5 hours after heating it up in the morning. It remains cold all day. I can place a hot and cold S'well side by side in my lunch container with no issues, but I do wrap one of them in a napkin as well. The only thing I found is that the larger size can be slightly awkward to open if you have small hands, so make sure your hands and the lid are fully dry when go to open it.

The concept is great - easy to wash inserts instead of trying to wash out a thermos. The only problem is the outer portion that insulates adds a lot of bulk to the product. It takes up a lot of room in a backpack or purse considering the amount of food it holds. If S'well could reduce the size a little without reducing the amount of food it holds, I would give this product 5 stars!!
