Swifie Running Cap

Great looking and fitting hat, but it is NOT WASHABLE! It is spot clean only. I didn’t even think to check the washing instructions since it is marketed as a “running” hat. Of course it is going to get sweaty and smelly. It makes no sense to not be able to properly wash it.

The other things I’ve ordered by Sweaty Betty are so well-designed, but I found this hat not to be so. I do like the color and it’s really nice that the tightness is easily adjustable, but for me the hat is short/sits too far above the ears. And the material is translucent so you can see the band that goes around the head on the inside of the hat. And that makes the hat look sort of poofy/tacky when the hat is on. Just not for me so I’m returning.

I’m disappointed in this hat. It looks like a stylish workout hat that can be worn around running errands based off the pictures, but in person it looks like a piece of swimsuit fabric attached to a very straight visor. The photo shows the bill curving but it doesn’t do that at all. The hat also sits above the ears and makes your hair poof out. Sadly I will return this and be on the hunt for the perfect errand/workout baseball cap again.

I purchased this hat specifically for running and other workouts. It’s a nice true navy blue. Fits really well and fabric is lightweight. Unfortunately, I did not read the care details before purchasing. The tag essentially says not to wash this hat, don’t even rinse with water. Wipe clean with a damp cloth only. What? For a hat sold by Sweaty Betty and specifically for running...that’s hilarious. I gambled and have been rinsing with cold water in shower after workouts, and it seems to be holding up fine.

I love this hat, but the elastic popped out of the stitching already and I’ve only had it a few months.

This cap is comfortable, and most importantly, easily adjustable. I have a small head and many caps are too big. You don’t want your cap falling off during exercise, or if it’s very windy. It’s sleek and stays cool. Pleased with my purchase.
