Not bad!
I have to say, the Surratt Artistique Foundation Brush surprised me in a good way. When I first bought it, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it has definitely exceeded my initial expectations. The bristles are soft and gentle on the skin, providing a smooth and flawless application of foundation. While it may not be the absolute best foundation brush on the market, considering its price point, it is definitely worth every penny. Overall, I would confidently say that the Surratt Artistique Foundation Brush is a worthy addition to any makeup lover's collection.

UNCHARACTERISTICALLY POORLY MANUFACTURED
I was very excited to purchase and use this brush with the new Surratt Dew Drop foundation. In theory this pairing sounded like the holy grail of makeup base application. In reality, this is sadly a very expensive but badly manufactured, poor quality brush that shed hairs and left my foundation streaky and sitting on the skin. Surratt is definitely one of my favourite brands and I love their products, but this was a real disappointment. I so badly wanted to love it, but for the price tag this needs to be 100% better!

Perfect the complexion with the Surratt Artistique Foundation Brush, a luxurious make-up tool with a natural and synthetic bristle brush that effortlessly distributes the ideal amount of foundation without streaking or dragging.
The top of this soft brush is angled to make it especially versatile when used to blend in foundation or concealer. In order to produce contoured looks or add bronzer, simply add a small amount of product to the bristles and then pat or buff into place. The wooden handle is designed with the ergonomics of the hand in mind, allowing for more a more comfortable and controlled application of gel, powder, liquid or cream formulas.
The Surratt Artistique Foundation Brush should be washed around once each week to keep the bristles in great shape. Use a light shampoo and lather under warm water before drying the brush face down.

Made difference!
I bought this brush after seeing a makeup artist use it on her customer in the mall. I was blown away at how light and gentle it was on the skin. I tried so many other brands, but this one is by far my favorite! It's so soft, yet still picks up just enough product to create a flawless finish.

Ok
I'd give this 3.5 stars, perhaps the price influences the rating as it's so expensive. The brushes are soft but not as soft as the other brushes in the range. It blends really well and I was surprised at how well it washes. The bristles are a tiny bit prickly and I generally lose one or two bristles each time I use it.

Not what I expected
I love my Surratt brushes, they are very expensive but I gift myself one every year. I have some of the eyeshadow brushes and they are fantastic, my favourites, and I was saving to get this foundation brush in order to be better at applying foundation and this has been a total disappointment. The design of the brush is beautiful but it is rather small, makes applying my foundation a bit more difficult and does not leave my skin looking flawless at all. The handle, the bristles (some of them got loose) they are too small and using it is far from a nice experience. I cannot recommend it.
