FINALLY
I have tried and returned so many different eye creams over the last year so I honestly had forgotten how much I spent on this one, but it was worth it. Most of them weren’t hydrating enough or actually dehydrated my delicate skin. Many irritated my eyes and caused watering and sometimes stinging and redness. I did end up going with a different eye cream for morning and night AND I’m using this layered with Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Eye Cream Intense. My routine is probably over complicated but I wanted formulas that covered various ingredients/benefits and wanted a more barrier focused night and a more caffeine focused day. Also because my skin is extra dry I follow this with the Bobbi Brown because it’s more occlusive, but less active. I bought this just over 2 months ago and use a peppercorn sized bead split between both eyes nightly.
Tata is giving much calmer eyes, steadier moisture retention, and less noticeable wrinkles. I am 43 and don’t have major wrinkles yet, but the wrong skincare quickly ages me 10 years because my skin leans so dry. This one feels lovely, light but lush, is unfragranced but has a *very* subtle natural scent that is pleasant and almost chocolatey, unlike any others I tried, fragranced or not. Even with my oils and cycled actives, this never pills. It soaks in nicely and I follow with my Bobbi Brown Intense to lock moisture in. This is also helping safeguard my skin from getting stripped by my husband’s fan.
I have not tried this in the morning under makeup, but given what I’m usually layering and the light texture, I would imagine this would perform beautifully under makeup too if you want a one and done option. It is not oily or filmy. The ingredients list is brag worthy too.
Packaging is expected quality, unproblematic and looks nice in my collection. I’m really happy I finally tried this one because it’s a keeper!

Irritated My Eye Area!!!
I've been using Tata's skin care line since 2015. This is the first time I had an issue with one of the products. My first use my eye area tingled a little but that can be normal with a new product. the initial sensation did not get better with more use. I've been using it for a little over a week and my area has actually gotten worse. My eyes have more fine lines and are very dry! I'm so sad! I really wanted to like this product to complete the Superkind skincare line for me... I will be returning it ASAP!

I love this product and

Deducting one star because it makes my eyes water despite being formulated for gentleness. My sensitivity drives everything, most eye products bother me more. I’m willing to pay what a perfect product costs, and I love Tata Harper’s approach to the world, but the price point is too high for something that still irritates my eyes. Even so, I can tolerate and use it, and I appreciate having something that works while I keep looking for my HG.
