What it does: This sheer, weightless sunscreen wears well with your makeup and is resistant to both sweat and humidity. Fast-absorbing, it features Stop Signs™ Technology, which prevents signs of aging by combating a full spectrum of modern environmental aggressors including UVA and UVB rays, pollution and other skin irritants. The daily SPF protector works all day to defend and awaken skin. The formula is sheer, weightless, quick absorbing and oil free.
How to use: Apply SPF in the morning after your treatment products but before makeup.

Bring back the previous City Block!
Gave it a try, but didn’t like the texture. Found that it made my skin feel greasy. Returned.

Not an sufficient alternative
I have used Clinique’s Super City Block w/SPF 40 for many, many years. When I found out this product was being discontinued, I was bummed. Excited to try this new, “improved” formulation, I was shocked to find that the ingredients were significantly decreased when comparing the two products side by side. I’m not a chemist, but how can Clinique advertise this product as being a ‘better’ SPF with significantly less ingredients from its predecessor; not to mention the texture and consistency is not as smooth, either. This product feels a little thicker and more cake-like. Not a fan.

I have dry skin and this works great as a protective layer under my makeup. It's light and non-greasy. I honestly do not understand all the negative reviews because I love it!
