5-in-1 Tinted Moisturizing Face Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30

Honestly, I’ve grown tired of false advertising/labeling, especially on clean beauty products. We know that clean beauty will be a little different than toxic brands, so no need for the untrue labels of no greasy, mattifying, long lasting, etc. when they’re not. I start this review with a rant because despite claims of being no greasy, this is in fact greasy. And I don’t mean a natural dewy finish, I mean I have to pack on powder to kill the shine and I’m trying to reduce layers on my skin with a tinted product. This brings me to another point. The tint here is as sheer as possible. If you’re seeking even a touch of even-toned natural coverage, this is not it. This is made for perfect skin that needs the added slight kiss of color. So if that’s you, this is your go-to. For me, by the time I blend it in, the tint fades so immensely, every flaw is visible again. The price is pretty comparable to other clean beauty SPFs, but it’s a bit on the lower SPF rate than others, which is okay I guess. I’d prefer at least 45. The scent is nice. A very subtle and soft citrusy scent that’s not overpowering and doesn’t linger at all.

I’ve been using this sunscreen for a few years and am so glad Nordstrom started carrying it. It’s incredibly moisturizing and doesn’t clog my pores. Love the scent and love how healthy it makes my skin feel. The ingredients are packed with antioxidants and good things for your skin in the sun. And it’s a physical sunscreen not chemical so it’s free of harmful chemicals. Another reviewer called it greasy. I wouldn’t say greasy but it does add shine to your face. Which is ok for me since I have dryer skin. The impeccable skin line in the suntegrity brand is less shiny and stays put a longer but also is more drying and clogs my pores a little. Tradeoffs... None of the colors in 5:1 match my skin perfectly so I actually get both golden light and light and blend them. Whereas with impeccable skin the “buff” color Works perfectly for me.

I’ve been using this product for 4+ years and it is my absolutely favorite. I mainly love it as my skin looks better with regular use. It moisturizes, treats as well as evens out skin tone. If I had to keep only one product to travel and use daily it would be this one. I’d give five stars, but I recently purchased from Nordstrom and the item I received has new packaging and slightly different ingredients - “organic” and “ plant derived” are not noted by certain ingredients anymore and neither is “treat” or “‘natural” on the label. I wish I knew I was buying the updated formula, as it is technically different. Best to update the photo and description for this item.

All Safe ingredients. Goes on smoothly. Just the coverage I was looking for. I don’t like a lot of coverage. I used buff in impeccable sunscreen but light in 5 in 1. I switched because I wasn’t sure if I really needed melanin since I’m prone to getting hyperpigmentation. Otherwise, I would have kept using it because I like the peptides in impeccable,

I was very excited to try this product. I love BB creams/CC creams and I am also searching for my new favorite. The fact that this was clean beauty was a big plus. However, this was formula was ghastly white on my fair skin (I am almost always the lightest or second lightest shade in foundation lines). It is also strangely greasy and has the consistency of paste. I do not recommend. There are so many other great options out there.
