Fairy Godmother Shimmering Body Oil Gel

This is probably the best body glow I have ever used. It’s not sticky or goopy or oily. The scent isn’t overpowering and it gives you the most gorgeous golden glow. I am super pale and self tanners always come absurd on me. I bought this in hopes of it giving me a nice golden glow and it does just that. It’s perfection. Best product ever. I will constantly repurchase it. Nordstrom please don’t ever discontinue this

Love this product. You definitely get more use out of it if you mix it with your body lotion. Only disappointing thing was it came with no lid, the top had popped off and some had spilled in the box… not much, but it wasn’t a good experience and definitely can’t travel with it, which is why I bought it.

I was so excited to try this. But pretty disappointed in the smell . I actually can’t even use it it’s so nauseating. It’s too bad because I like the consistency of the oil, it gives a nice warm glow and feels hydrating. But the repulsive smell is overwhelming. I wonder if mine went bad in the warehouse or something.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't buy this, didn't even know it existed, it came in a free gift! The texture is very liquidy which surprised me. I don't like lotion because it's cold and I don't like rubbing it into my skin until it disappears. This product is perfect, not cold or hot. Rub it into the skin 3 times and that's it. The shimmer is subtle which I love! Just something else I can't live without....lol.

While I’m kind of on the fence about most of the Sunday Riley products this is one thing I am in LOVE with! This is a beautiful lightly shimmering and moisturizing body oil! The shimmer/glitter particles are so so so small that they just look amazing on the skin giving this mesmerizing healthy glow. It seems to have both pearlescent and minuscule silver/gold glitter pieces that meld together perfectly. In indoor lighting the glow is very subtle and just brightens the skin to look healthy and supple. But in the sunlight it really lights up and shifts with each movement, reminding me of how sunlight shimmers on the ocean waves. It is breathtaking while not being overpowering nor overwhelming. And it lasts with without transferring; I wear a lot of black or grey shirts and I’ve not noticed any glitter residue on my clothes (inside or outside) so if there is transfer it’s extremely minimal. If I want a little less glow I’ll apply before moisturizing because the added moisturizer on top will slightly reduce the shimmer, but if I want more glow I’ll apply after moisturizing. Best part? It takes very very very little product to achieve an all over glow. I actually lift the pump out and just barely grave my fingertips over the pump stem, rub my hands together, and then apply. I do this twice- once for both legs and then again for both arms and chest/neck. So this bottle will last forever! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product, regardless of if you use anything else from Sunday Riley, this is one product anyone who wants an ethereal glow needs to have!
