Woodland Comforter

I purchased the queen size duet. It's beautiful but heavy and this creates a problem when washing it! I have an x-large front loading washer, I've tried multiple settings, including bulky. Regardless of the setting, the washer has trouble releasing water in the spin cycle which makes it impossible to dry! I even took it to a friends house to wash and we had the same problem. I will look into returning it asap!

I wanted to love this more. I got this as a gift, and thought this would be everything I could possibly want for my bed. However, this is WAY too bulky and it broke my apartment’s dryer. It’s heavy to begin with, and then gets HEAVIER because it retains so much water. To finish drying it, I had to go to a laundromat and use one of those industrial dryers—because I’m not sleeping with a soaking wet comforter that feels like a gigantic wet sponge. Although the color is pretty and it’s quite warm when it’s dry, I cannot recommend this—just for the hassle of washing it.

I have slept better since I bought this heavy blanket than I have in years. There are some nights I'm not even sure I have moved...as my morning stiffness would testify. I am a reckless sleeper and usually need to dismantle my bed every morning just to make it. Now, all I do is pull the blanket up and reposition the pillow. Expensive, but a good night's sleep is worth the extra money.
