Sunbeam Puffer Jacket

I normally try to only go for natural-fiber clothing, but this recycled nylon jacket was just too fun to pass up! I am between a L and XL at the moment, but decided to take a chance on the L, and it fits very well. I live in a very cold climate, so this will be more of a "between seasons" jacket for me, perfect to wear a long sleeve shirt under. If you plan to wear heavier/thicker tops with it, I'd definitely size up. The jacket looks just as cool and vibrant in person as the photos, and the material is so soft. The down filling is very evenly distributed. My only critique with this jacket is that it hits right at the top of my hips. I am 5"11, so its not quite "cropped" on me, but definitely on the shorter side when fully zipped up. The sleeve length is good though, might be a bit long on a shorter person.

I get so many compliments on this jacket! The quality and attention to detail is excellent given the price-point. Thoughtful details like fleece-lined pockets and a cleverly detachable hood are lovely. I prefer my Marine Layer Sunburst puffer to my similarly priced Cotopaxi puffer—Marine Layer’s quality outshines that of Cotopaxi.
