Sugar Sweetheart Short Pajamas

I love these pajamas. They’re cozy, & cool to sleep in bc they’re almost all rayon, which is not a natural fabric, but it’s processed to make it cooler, & breathable. I love hearts so that’s initially what caught my eye. BUT, I have to mention that I’m very disappointed that a good amount of Honeydew is made of POLYESTER, which is not a breathable fabric, is cheap to manufacture, & is essentially plastic, which means it will not decompose, & will end up on trash islands all over the world. Please pay attention to the fabric content on the label-it’s important that if you’re spending hard earned money, you should be getting quality, not garbage. Not only that, but it doesn’t breathe while you’re sleeping, so it’s not good for your skin, & if you’re a hot sleeper, it will make you sweat. I was recently at my local Nordstrom & saw some of the new, spring/summer releases by Honeydew. I knew they were polyester just by the feel. They were $78/$88 & you may as well go to Walmart & spend $12 bc the quality is the same! It feels cheap. Are they cute? Yes. But I would love to see Nordstrom be more selective on the pieces they choose. Natural fabrics include: Cotton, silk, denim, wool, bamboo, linen, & hemp. Rayon & Viscose are better than polyester, but cotton is #1. The reason you pay more for 100% cotton is because it’s the best quality, top breathability, & best choice for so many garments. If you’re only going to buy a few pieces of loungewear/pajamas, I highly recommend you spend a little more, & get cotton. To Nordstrom, I would like to see you notice the different fabrics that Honeydew uses on their pj’s/lounge. It’s almost as though they try to trick the consumer by making some with cotton & rayon, & others with nylon, & 100% polyester, for pieces that are very similar. I know you don’t carry full lines of many brands, so I urge you to ask them why are they taking the cheap route, & still charging a premium? Feel the difference between Honeydew, & compare them to 100% cotton pjs by Ralph Lauren, & tell me if I’m wrong. Companies are taking the cheaper route, but Nordstrom is not a polyester store.
