Love this non flaky custard. If I want good hold a know I won't be able to retouch my hair I can go heavy handed or if I want to keep it very light for a no cast feel.

What it does: Lightweight and slippy, the Styling Custard detangles while providing hold for kids and adults. It contains flaxseed oil, agave, Irish moss and chamomile for a hydrated hold, definition and shine. It is perfect for wet or dry ponytails, braids-out and Bantu knots. Founder Tracee Ellis Ross picked this fragrance to be clean and not overpowering with notes of neroli, rose and patchouli.
How to use: On clean, damp hair, apply to small sections. Smooth from root to tip, and style as desired. Use as desired.

Not for 4B/4C Hair

Addicting scalp comfort
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I keep reaching for the Styling Custard over and over (even tho I need to try more Pattern products that I already bought) because it feels so kind to my scalp. It lets me painlessly change up hairstyles with tight twists at all angles and directions while maintaining the shape and shine of the twists & braids, it can rain on my head at work with no changes. And not crusty or gummy. And protects with oils or slip in such a way that I can literally brush out some twists the next day without my scalp protesting. I have never experienced a holding product that plays so well with water. It is literally friends with water, hot steam, humidity, I can wash dishes and not have to protectively wrap my hair first. This product is like a safety net I just don’t want to go without.

Mini Twist VIP
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beware veryyyy sticky and has tonsss of slip a little goes a long way with this product. Great when putting in mini twist when I spray my hair after days in mini twist product is still there and makes it very easy to recoil the ends.

Great for high porosity hair.
My hair is very high porosity. This custard on top of the styling cream is the perfect combination for me. This is the best my hair has looked since I went natural in 2021.
