Not just for workouts!
I planned to buy this to use for working out, but my stylist and husband saw it on and both thought I might want to consider wearing it everyday instead of work-outs, and I have to agree! The purple nebula color is a nice change from the standard black and white shirts and it goes with the Zella workout leggings I bought last year in a what I think of as southwestern colors. It is that soft, recycled fabric feel that I associate with Zella. I’m in between a L and Medium, trending toward Medium after losing some weight. The medium was more flatter.

weird fit
The bottom of the shirt was very tight. It doesn’t just hang down it clings to you.

I want to love it, but
This review is for the white shirt. I REALLY want to love it because it’s soft and flattering, but it doesn’t quite work for me.
Pros as a workout top: soft, breathable material. Adorable cutout in back which looks great with the right sports bra (see pic).
Cons as a workout top: the shape of it just screams blouse to me and I can’t bring myself to wear it to work out in! It doesn’t look or feel like I’m dressed to work out.
Okay so then I thought, I can just wear it as a regular top!
Pros as a regular top: The cut and draping of this shirt is beautiful. I usually hate my upper arms but I like where the sleeves stop. It hides my post baby tummy nicely.
Cons as a regular top: it’s too dang see through!! (See pics)
I am definitely returning the white top, and I MAY exchange for a darker color and wear it as a regular top.

flattering fit
Bought this t shirt in off white and the purplish color as a nice change from regular cotton t shirts. Definitely going to wear them out and about b/c it looks nice with shorts. Will not be workout wear for me as I prefer tanks that are more fitted. If you are considering the purple color be aware it is very muted, doesn't look purple at all.

Lovely knit, drapes beautifully.
This T-shirt fits beautifully, the drape is really nice and the style is a little different than a typical T-shirt. I wear a size 4/6 and the small fits me very nicely, loose but not grossly oversized. I ordered in a black and gray. I found the gray to be very dull but the black is a beautiful dark color.

Really flattering top
I was hoping to wear this for casual outfits and not working out. It's pretty and flattering, but the Zella logo on the shirt is reflective silver, so that kind of ruins it for me because it's a dead giveaway that it's a workout brand tee.

Cute every day top
I got this in grey moonbeam - black wasn't available in medium unfortunately. It's a very cute top for shorts, capris and such. The color could almost be considered off-white rather than grey. I agree with others that I won't be wearing it as a workout top - it doesn't look like a workout top at all. The logo doesn't show on the grey shirt. It has a slight "band" around the bottom which means it doesn't just hang - it fits nicely. The one issue I have is this - it arrived wrinkled, which is not unusual. I followed the washing/drying directions and it emerged wrinkled as well. Bummer! I'm not a fan of having to iron casual tops.
