How to use: Apply the liquid foundation to skin using fingers, a sponge or foundation brush, then blend the foundation with fingers, sponge or brush.

SO DEPRESSING
So disappointed!
It was a literally perfect foundation before the reformulation. It had a light coverage that was completely undetectable! You could build it up if you needed to, but you could also have a very your-skin-but-better appearance. I wore it everyday!
They kept telling me nothing changed with the formula, but it is obviously not true. It was frustrating that they wouldn't admit that it had. I am pleading with you, Mac, return the original formula! I buy it off ebay now, but I know it cant last forever. Been hunting for a replacement, but I havent found anything that is true to this.
It is too shiny and too sheer now. Similar to the Glossier skin tint. Doesnt do much of anything but make you a bit shinier and you cant build it up.

Why make this more sheer?
I’ve been wearing face and body for about 10 years and always considered the old formula to be the perfect light coverage. Why water down the new formula?? There is no way anyone requested less coverage out of this product. The finish is still good for my dry skin. I even tried another serum-like formula foundation and it just clung to my dry patches. I will continue to use this because it works with my skin texture.

Liked the old face and body way better. The newer formula is way too glowy, makes me look oily, and it doesn’t look like skin like the original face and body. I also have to set the new face and body with a powder to avoid my skin from looking oily. I NEVER had to set the old face and body. I’m very disappointed with it. Please MAC change back to the satin finish formula.

light and easy
I have drier skin and prefer a lighter base. This is a nice wash of color, that leaves my face looking healthy and glowy, and lasts throughout the day. It works well with my other complexion products. No lifting of product. Obviously not for anyone looking for high coverage, and I’m not sure how oily skin would fair. The only downside is the bottle. The top can get messy and drips.

wanted to love
This sheer foundation made my face itchy and caused breakouts on my cheeks and chin after only a couple of uses. Thankfully I had a sample and didn’t need to return an opened bottle. I will return to Laura Mercier foundation products.
