**I wish Nordstrom was still the shoe destination for me** I probably would have given these another star if they were available in wide. The 8.5 wide would have been ideal. I had to get a 9 and there would definitely be some slipping at the heel/sliding forward. Okay, for the actual review: Wanted to love these...but I did't. I am still the fence as to whether I should I keep them. The boot would have been awesome if it was one piece of leather. Instead, when they arrived I discovered that there is a THICK seam that connects the slouch part with the top of the foot. It really cheapens the boot. The leather also isn't as nice as some of my other Stuart Weitzman boots.

Love these boots! They are comfortable yet very fashionable with the cone heel and slouchy leather look. These will look great with jeans or dresses. I wish they came in a butterscotch color and a shorter calf height — is buy those too!!

Very nicely made boots. The only problem for me is the height--a bit too high for walking. For someone who is used to walking in high heels, this would be a great pair of boots!

True to size. Very very comfortable. They go well with any outfit and any occasion. Even to work! Nappa leather is so soft. I think its perfect material to have slouchy look. I love my SW smashing knee high boots!!
