Nudistsong Ankle Strap Sandal

I've been on the hunt for minimalist heels for a while so I was very excited to find these on sale and decided to order to see how they would fit. My personal preference when shopping for heels, I prefer heels under 3 inches, but am willing to go up to a 3 1/2 inches. These were definitely on pushing the envelope here but given how popular these are, I figured there must've been something special about these that made them "okay" to wear despite the heel height. I also relied heavily on the reviews to determine which size to order. I'm typically a 6 but have noticed in recent years, the sizing in shoes from various designers vary. If i do veer from size 6, it's typically in the 5.5 direction, and sometimes into 6.5 territory but rare. On Nordstroms, this shoe was reviewed to be true to size so I ordered a size 6. When the shoes finally arrived, I opened up the box immediately to try them on. The color of the shoes (currant suede) were beautiful. As soon as I slipped them on, it was clear these were too big. I should've ordered a 5.5. In addition to being too big, these were definitely not going to be comfortable. The heel was too high for me. If I were to wear it to a party and standing for 3+ hours, my feet would've hurt by the end of the night. With that said, the shoe is beautiful. It definitely elongates the legs. So I could see this working out for people who are fine with the heel height., just not for me.

I just received my order of SW Nudist in Adobe Aniline and I am beyond disappointed of the quality of the shoes. The shoes itself it very beautiful and comfortable to walk in in my opinion; I don't know whether or got a defected pair or that is how the quality of the shoes goes but the craftmenshift of the shoes is horrible. The stiching is off, the shoes looks like somebody tried to reglue it back, the cut of the leather is messy... Even my Jessica Simpson Pumps have better quality. This is not the most expensive shoes but for the price tag of $400, I expect the quality to be at least decent. This is going back.

I've been eyeing this shoe for a few years now, and I finally got them. I'm taking 1 star off because you can definitely find an almost identical heel for MUCH less, and at 4 inches tall there's simply no way to make a stiletto heel like this "comfortable." Ultimately we all paid over $400 for 2 tiny strips of leather and a heel. Obviously we all got this heel because we are suckers for branding. Also, FWIW my boyfriend who didn't know how much the heels cost said he didn't like them. Said they look cheap and plastic-y (had to explain they look plastic-y because they are made of patent leather haha). I plan on keeping them but who knows maybe I'll end up returning them, over $400 for an uninspired barely there heel that apparently looks cheap and plastic-y...for some reason I don't feel too sexy in them anymore.

I had been wanting to purchase these SW heels for years and was a bit disappointed upon wearing them for the first time. I live in New York City, so any time I go out quite a bit of walking is involved. These shoes are not made for walking...The toe strap becomes somewhat of a straight jacket for your toes once you've been wearing them for over an hour, no matter if you're walking or just standing for extended periods of time. They fit true to size, although the sales associate said they run a little large. I wouldn't have gotten a half size down though due to the fact that most feet are prone to swelling in this type of shoe and the difference in the half size is minuscule. Ultimately, I think that if I add some foot petals to the soles of the shoes it might ease up the amount of pressure that's put onto my toes. They really are beautiful shoes, I just wish they were more comfortable!

I cannot find enough words to describe how much I love these shoes. I've purchased them in multiple colors, as I cannot get enough. I normally wear a US size 7, but always take a 6.5 in Nudistsongs (even with my slightly wide feet). After years of buying, wearing, and investing thousands into another popular (red bottom) designer, I've completely given my feet over to Nudistsongs. They are simple yet chic; therefore they literally go with everything! Very wearable and easy to walk in. Highly recommend.

I loved the simplicity of this shoe but, after wearing them for a short time, these became incredibly painful. I live in high pumps and sandals but just couldn't handle the pain.
