Darla Over the Knee Boot

I only wear SW boots because I have skinny legs and their the only brand that fits. These boots are so spectacular! They can be worn with a casual outfit, mini skirt or sweater dress for night. Grab a pair and you’ll fall in love!

I bought these at the Sale and was so excited. I am average sized and these boots were way too tight in the calf/thigh. I had to return them. Only for very skinny legs (and my legs aren’t even that big!)

These boots are gorgeous. I was stunned by their beauty when I opened the box, but once I saw the calf, I suspected that they would not fit. I tried anyway and got it on somewhat, but like the other reviewer, I also almost had a panic attack getting them off—it felt like it was removing my skin along with it. For reference, I am typically a US 4 in contemporary lines, so my calves are not unusually large. Not only are the calves too tight, the shoe part seems to run large, so even if you manage to get them over your calf, you might find them flopping around on your foot.

First and foremost this is a beautiful SLIP-ON boot. IF the ankles were tighter it would be impossible for the foot to pass through into the shoe of the boot. With that said - 5'10" 160 lbs 37" inseam ~9.5" ankle ~15" calf 12M shoe size - this boot hugs my long lanky legs nicely clearing the knee - yay, for the tall girls! The width of these SW's will enable me to wear socks for cold weather warmth. Even with the satin lining I think it's doubtful that they will easily slide over jeans perhaps leggings will be successful tights for sure! I look forward to this boot securely staying put and not slopping down on my leg this winter - fingers-crossed!

I am 5’2” 106 lbs and these boots look fantastic on! I found them to be snug around the ankle- so much so my jeans get shoved up and bunch a bit even though they are really skinny. I have to work on rolling the boots down when putting on so I can adjust my jeans. At least that’s what SW customer service told me! They should stretch a little so should get easier with time. I’m a normal 6.5 but I have 6 pairs of SW boots, ALL size 6 so I definitely size down a half size. Can’t wait to wear them! Love the heel height! Gave them a four star just because of the ankle area which I’m sure will get better over time- the rest of the fit was great for me. I guess each individual has to try on to see if they are the right fit.

I love the heel height - right in the middle between my lowlands and hiline. I’m 5’3”, so i love the extra couple of inches versus my lowlands. With that being said, my others are a size 8 and the length fits great in these, but the ankles are so roomy that my foot doesn’t feel secure when walking and there is extra fabric there, in general. A 7.5 would be too small and would start to cram the toebox. I do have very scrawny calves and ankles, though. On the fence about keeping because they should be perfect given the price.
