Stripe Hype Sateen Short Pajamas

I loved these PJ’s when I saw them in the store. They are super soft and warm without being heavy. I bought XS (I am 5’1” and 112 lbs), which is my normal size. However, after one wash they have shrunk down to what I would consider XXS. The top is snug and the shorts are extremely short now. After reading the fabric content and care, it seems these are not soft cotton but man-made materials. The tag says to lay flat to dry…..who has time/space to lay flat a pair of PJ’s that need to be washed repeatedly? For the price, these should be better. I have had cheaper PJ’s from lesser stores last for years without shrinking or needing to be handled with kid gloves. I am going to take them back to the store and hold them up against the XS on the rack to show how much shrinkage they have incurred and hopefully get a refund, or at least exchange for a much larger size.
