Stripe Alpaca Blend Sweater

I was so excited Nordstrom had this sweater after the Madewell site sold out. I was so disappointed when I tried this on. From the pictures it looks oversized a bit and longer, it’s neither in person. Ordered my normal size large, it’s short, thin material, and itchy. It’s also see through because of how thin it is. I had so much hope. Now just sad. Returned.

Yes I read the reviews about this item before purchasing and definitely thought maybe people are exaggerating, but no! I definitely thought the itchiness won’t be that bad if I wear a long sleeve underneath, which seems to work for a little bit, but after wearing for a couple hours, it was still itchy, even with a long sleeve underneath. Not only that but it sheds a ton! And when I say a ton, I mean it gets everywhere, in your car, on your jeans and on everyone around you! Everyone will have little hairs on them. It is cute colored tho hence the 2 stars but definitely not worth it

Was looking forward to getting the one pictured yet the sweater I received has a big burgundy stripe and the thinner stripe is more of a beige white. Will be returning as I was looking forward to the brown and white vs the burgundy. The sweater itself is also scratchy as other reviews called out.

Very cute, oversized sweater. I sized down one size, and the fit was exactly what I wanted. The material is lightweight and thin, but unfortunately extremely scratchy. After wearing it for only a couple of minutes, I found myself tugging at the neckline due to the discomfort. I really wanted to love this sweater, but there’s no way I could wear it comfortably for an entire day.
