Size is wrong or mislabeled
Long time lover of Stride Rite shoes. Cute shoes and seem comfortable. Ordered a size 2 in floral and a size 3 in silver. I have two daughters. The size 2 fits great, as we expected, on daughter one. The size 3 was small on daughter two. We held up the size 2 against the size 3 and they are exactly the same! Either to quality control is off or the shoe is mislabeled. We will return the size 3 (silver). I have one very disappointed kid. Thinking about ordering a second pair of the size 3 (silver) to see if it was just a "bad" pair...

Comfy, but not super durable
Super comfy shoes and my 6 year old daughter loved the easy Velcro straps that can be adjusted both at the ankle and across the top of her foot. Unfortunately, in a little over a month, she has almost worn through the heel of her left shoe and is rapidly wearing away the bottom of the right. I'm not sure if she has been doing something particularly out of the ordinary while at camp, but is normally pretty easy on shoes, so this was a disappointment, especially from Stride Rite since all shoes we've had from this brand (ever since she began walking!) have lasted and lasted (she's grown out of all of them so gently that we've often handed down the shoes to friends and neighbors or donated them).
