'Claire' Mary Jane

We have purchased this shoe in increasing sizes as a uniform shoe for my daughter. The shoes are comfortable and provide good support, but they look used quickly. It is difficult to maintain their brand new appearance.

Bought these shoes for my friend who is a little person and has a hard time finding shoes that she can wear to work. These are perfect for her and they look dressy and classy! Also, they came in a wide width which my friend needs and they are made of real leather.

My MIL gets stride rites for my 10 yo school uniform. Last year they were great, they look great with skirts and she still can play comfortably at recess and they lasted all year...but she outgrew them. This year’s new pair she wore out quickly. The lining peeled away or shredded and by winter the sole is peeling from toebox. It feels like something changed in their manufacturing process—not their usual quality and longevity . Although my daughter still likes the look and thinks they are comfy. I hope by new school year they improve things.

My daughter loves these and has worn them frequently for a few weeks now. They look great and are well made, I expect them to last. Other Stride Rite shoes we’ve had (mostly tennis shoes) have been much better than similar shoes from other brands.

Shoes are peeling on the insides after just two wearings. Do better…

I got my daughters these shoes for school and they could not be happier! Beautiful stitching details on this great quality leather mary jane had me sold. The tread is durable, so I'm sure my active 5 and 9 year old will enjoy playing in them for many months to come!
